Coffee Vanilla Ice cream

Who doesn’t like vanilla ice cream? I bet all of us do but have you tried pairing it up with coffee? It adds a bold flavor to the creamy and natural homemade ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Whole milk- 2 cups
  • Coffee- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar- 3/4 cup
  • Heavy Whipped Cream- 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon

Procedure

  • Put the whipped cream and the bowl in the freezer and leave it to chill overnight.
  • Place the ground coffee in a filter bag as adding brewed coffee would require water, which is not recommendable for ice creams.
  • Pour milk into a saucepan, bring it to simmer, and add sugar to it. Then, stir well and turn off the flame.
  • Additionally, soak the coffee filter bag in the milk until it gets extracted properly and combine with vanilla extract.
  • Pour the milk into the whipped cream steadily, not all at once. Stir it gently to mix.
  • Cover it with a plastic wrapper or a steel utensil and freeze for at least 6-8 hours.
  • Scoop it out and top it with chocolate sauce and nuts, depending on your taste.
  • Serve your bold-flavoured ice cream.

Coffee Jelly

Jelly was our perfect companion in childhood. But have you ever tried having coffee-flavoured jelly with minimal ingredients?

Ingredients

  • Unflavored Gelatin- 1 pack
  • Brewed Coffee- 2 cups
  • Hot water- 2 teaspoons
  • Powdered sugar- 4 teaspoons
  • Whipped cream(flavored or unflavored)

Procedure

  • Take a bowl and add the hot water into it.
  • Empty the pack of gelatin and dissolve it into the hot water.
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan.
  • Mix it with coffee and sugar. Then, boil it until dissolved well.
  • Pour the mixture so formed into a large utensil and put it to freeze for 7-8 hours.
  • Once solidified, pour the mixture into large glasses and top it with whipped cream of your favorite flavor.
  • Top it up with ice cream if you want a more creamy and sweet flavor. Your caffeinated jelly is ready to be served.

Cappuccino Muffins

How about beginning your day with coffee muffins instead of coffee? Even better, how about pairing it with a good cup of hot coffee? It is wholesome as well as delightful!

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour- 2 cups
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar- 1 cup + 1/2 cup(icing)
  • Eggs- 2
  • Brewed Coffee- 1/4 cup + 2 teaspoons(icing)
  • Vegetable oil- 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder- 2 teaspoons
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon
  • Salt- 1 pinch
  • Walnuts (optional)

Procedure

  • Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar to a large bowl and mix together.
  • Now, crack the eggs in a bowl and whisk them together with milk, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and master of the dish, coffee.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in the wet ones and your batter is ready.
  • Then, divide the batter equally among the number of muffins you want.
  • Bake them in a pre-heated oven for around 15-20 minutes. Check if it’s baked properly by inserting a toothpick into the sponge.
  • Wait until it cools down before you begin with the icing. Once it cools down, sift the icing sugar and coffee kept aside.
  • Top it over each muffin and serve with walnuts.

Home-made coffee chocolate

Ingredients

  • Cocoa butter- 1/2 cup (substitute-coconut oil)
  • Dark chocolate compound-1 cup
  • Grounded Coffee- 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar- 2 teaspoon
  • Chocolate mold

Procedure

  • Take a bowl, add cocoa butter into it, and put it on slow flame. If you have a large piece of cocoa butter, chop it into small, even pieces.
  • Add the compound chocolate to the bowl and stir gently until it is completely melted and dissolved with the butter.
  • Additionally, put the coffee and sugar in the mixture and stir until it forms a fluid consistency.
  • Now, pour the mixture on butter paper and spread it.
  • Take a candy mould of your choice in accordance with the shapes and sizes of chocolates you want to have. Pour the batter into the molds evenly.
  • Keep the molds to freeze for 3-4 hours, and enjoy the chocolatey delight with the bold aroma of coffee in your favorite shapes.

Iced Latte

We hear about lattes all the time these days and by the name of it, we believe that it is limited to luxurious places like Starbucks and CCD. However, it’s simply milk mixed into expresso with ice that can give your Starbucks coffee a run for its money. Yes! that’s a latte and it is that effortless without an expresso machine.

Ingredients

  • Whole milk- 1 cup
  • Sugar- 2 tsp
  • Coffee( instant granules or powdered)- 2 tsp
  • Ice cubes
  • Vanilla essence- 2 drops
  • Water- 1/2 cup

Procedure

  1. In a glass jar, add coffee granules along with sugar and vanilla essence.
  2. Microwave the water for a minute, pour it into the jar, and stir until dissolved.
  3. Dilute the coffee with chilled water(1/2 cup) and stir to combine.
  4. In the end, add milk of choice and stir to combine and give it another good stir.
  5. Top it with chocolate sauce and cocoa powder. Serve with a straw and enjoy the Starbucks feels.

Coffee Cookies

Coffee intensifies the flavor of cookies when we dip them in it. We’ve got this delectable yet facile recipe for making your evenings better.

  • All-purpose flour- 1.5 cups
  • Granulated sugar- 1 cup
  • Butter- 1/2 cup
  • Egg- 1
  • Brewed coffee- 1.5 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda-1/2 teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips- 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon
  • Salt- 1/4 teaspoon

Procedure

  • Take a bowl and mix together the flour, baking soda, salt, and set aside.
  • Now, mix the brewed coffee with half a spoon of lukewarm water until dissolved completely.
  • Take another bowl and whisk sugar, butter, and vanilla extract along with the eggs.
  • Add the espresso mixture to the wet mixture followed by the dry mixture set aside. The batter formed should be thick.
  • Finally, add the chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Take an ungreased cookie sheet and drop the dough around 2 inches apart with a spoon.

  • Unflavored Gelatin- 1 packet

Procedure

  • Take a medium-size bowl and whisk together egg yolks and powdered sugar.
  • Now, take a saucepan and pour milk along with coffee. Put it on slow flame.
  • Blend both the mixtures together and stir constantly. Then, turn off the flame.
  • Stir the formed mixture thoroughly into the gelatin.
  • Now, take 1/2 cup of cream and whip it using a blender until it becomes puffy.
  • Mix it with the former mixture and gently fold the rest of the heavy cream into it.

Procedure

  • Over low flame, melt the chocolate chips/ compound along with the whipped cream in a large bowl.
  • Stir thoroughly until dissolved and add brewed coffee mixed in lukewarm water into the mixture.
